Our Mission ...
To make green spaces accessible for city dogs and their humans while building a joyful community of dog lovers.

Pet Parent Guilt is Real
— Especially in NYC

Outdoor Dogs was born out of a simple need: a better way to care for our dog, Roux.
Like many busy dog parents, we struggled to give her the exercise and stimulation she needed. Dog parks an hour each day weren’t enough, and traditional daycare left her cooped up indoors, disengaged, and often sick. We knew there had to be a healthier, more engaging way for dogs to spend their days.
That’s why we created Outdoor Dogs — an alternative designed to give pups the exercise, fresh air, and enrichment they truly need.

But our goal with Outdoor Dogs was more than safe transport and outdoor time—it’s a community. By hosting hiking adventures that allow owners to come along for the journey, we create shared experiences where dogs and their humans connect with nature, meet new people in their neighborhood, and become part of a supportive network of fellow dog lovers.
